Abstract

The value of exports shipped through the port of South Sulawesi in September 2019 was recorded at US $ 122.98 Million. This figure has increased by 12.61 percent when compared to the value of exports in August 2019 which reached US $ 109.21 Million. In line with that, the achievements in September 2019 recorded an increase of 30.88 percent from the same month the previous year which reached US $ 93.97 Million.

• Five main commodities exported in September 2019 namely nickel; oily seeds and medicinal plants; iron and steel; lacquer, sap and resin; and Fish, Shrimp and Other Non-vertebrate Water Animals with a percentage distribution of 66.84 percent, 8.64 percent, 7.87 percent, 6.10 percent and 2.87 percent respectively.

• Most exports in September 2019 were directed to Japan, China, the Philippines, Australia and Taiwan with the proportions of 67.88 percent, 24.21 percent, 2.10 percent, 1.69 percent and 1.01 percent respectively. .
