Abstract

Collecting Data on Integrated Agricultural Agriculture Statistics withThe 2019 Area Sample Method (KSA) method is a collaborative effort between the Central AgencyStatistics (BPS) with the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) in orderimprove the methodology of conventional agricultural statistical data collection to be moreobjective and modern. Data collection using the KSA method involves the role of technologybased on Android so it is expected that the collected agricultural data will be more accurate andon time. This activity is a follow up to the development and improvement of the activitythe previous trial was the KSA Trial on the island of Java in 2017. The coverage of the KSA region2019 covers all provinces in Indonesia and the data collected only coversrice commodity. KSA 2019 is held on the last seven days every month from January toDecember 2019. The total number of target sample segments in South Sulawesi that must be observedas many as 1616 segments with the realization reaching 100 percent every month except in March andOctober 2019. Estimated harvest area for KSA 2019 observations from January to December2019 in the South Sulawesi Province of 1.01 million hectares. Meanwhile, estimated rice productionin South Sulawesi from January to December 2019 amounting to 5.05 million tons of Dry Milled Grain(MPD). If it is converted to rice with the conversion rate of MPD to rice in 20182019 rice production is estimated at 2.88 million tons of rice.
