Abstract

The Combined Farmer's Terms of Trade (NTP) for South Sulawesi Province in May 2025 was 122.54, an increase of 0.74 percent compared to April 2025, which was 121.64.
The NTP by agricultural subsector was as follows: Food Crops (NTPP) at 109.17; Horticulture (NTPH) at 116.84; Smallholder Plantation Crops (NTPR) at 174.77; Livestock (NTPT) at 109.21; and Fisheries (NTNP) at 112.92.
In May 2025, all five agricultural subsectors experienced a decline in the Farmer’s Terms of Trade (NTP) compared to the previous month. The Food Crops subsector decreased by 0.41 percent, Smallholder Plantation Crops by 3.10 percent, Livestock by 0.81 percent. Meanwhile, the Horticulture subsector experienced a decrease in NTP by 8.83 percent.
The Farmer’s Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in May 2025 was 126.74, an increase of 0.59 percent compared to the previous month.
