Abstract

· Export value sent through the port of South Sulawesi in June 2019 was recorded at US $ 95.73 million. This figure has decreased by 7.84 percent compared to the export value in May 2019 which reached US $ 103.88 million. In line with that, the June 2019 achievement was recorded to have decreased by 11.21 percent from the condition of the same month the previous year which reached US $ 107.82 million.

• The five main commodities exported in June 2019 are nickel; cocoa / chocolate; iron and steel; oily grains and medicinal plants as well as lacquer, gum and resin with a percentage distribution of 68.43 percent, 6.86 percent, 6.43 percent, 5.33 percent and 4.73 percent, respectively.

• Most exports in June 2019 were directed to Japan, China, Malaysia, Australia and the Philippines with a proportion of 69.84 percent, 16.83 percent, 6.94 percent, 2.10 percent and 1.31 percent, respectively.
