Abstract

· The number of foreign tourists (tourists) who came through the Makassar entrance in May 2019 reached 1,105 visits. The number of foreign tourists decreased by 16.22 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in April 2019 which reached 1,319 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to May 2018, there was an increase of 67.17 percent, in which the number of visits in May 2018 was 661 visits.

· Hotel Class Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in Sulawesi Selatan in May 2019 fell 9.74 points compared to TPK in April 2019, which was from 47.43 percent in April 2019 to 37.69 percent in May 2019. The same thing if compared to May 2018, the hotel TPK star classification in May 2019 fell by 11.49 points which in May 2018 was 49.18 percent.

· The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests in star classification hotels in Sulawesi Selatan during May 2019 is 2.34 days and 1.85 days, respectively.
