Barru Has New BPS-Statistics Office

Tuesday 10 December 2024, amidst the rain pouring down on the city of Barru, an important event took place which became a historical milestone for BPS Barru Regency, namely the inauguration of the new office building. This event was solemn and lively with the presence of very special invited guests.

This inauguration event was attended by high-ranking BPS officials, including the Main Secretary of BPS, Imam Machdi, Head of the Planning Bureau, M. Nashrul Wajdi, Head of the General Bureau, Agus Gede Hendrayana Hermawan, Head of the Finance Bureau and Acting. Head of the Public Relations and Legal Bureau, Darusman, and Director of STIS Police, Erni Tri Astuti. Also present were the Head of BPS South Sulawesi Province along with the Heads of Regency/City and Madya BPS throughout South Sulawesi.

The event began with a warm welcome from the Regional Secretary of Barru Regency, who expressed his welcome to all invited guests. In his speech, he expressed his appreciation for the presence of BPS in Barru Regency, which is expected to continue to contribute to regional progress through accurate and quality data.

This new building is a symbol of the new spirit of BPS Barru Regency to continue providing better, professional and integrity services. The atmosphere at the inauguration became even more lively with a ribbon cutting procession and the signing of an inscription by the Principal Secretary of BPS as a sign of the inauguration of this building.

Even though the rain continued to fall, this did not reduce the enthusiasm of the invitees. This inauguration is a moment full of pride and hope for all BPS people and the people of Barru Regency.
