Education Statistics of Sulawesi Selatan Province 2025

Education is not only an issue in Indonesia but also one that has gained global attention. The education sector constitutes Goal 4 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. In addition, education is one of the main development priorities in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025–2029. Improving the quality and competitiveness of human resources is expected to produce a generation that is healthy and intelligent, adaptive, innovative, skilled, and of strong character. This publication presents an overview of education conditions in Sulawesi Selatan based on the results of the March 2025 National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas). The data presented include several key indicators of educational processes and outcomes. The basic information provided includes the School Participation Rate (APS), Net Enrollment Rate (APM), Gross Enrollment Rate (APK), and Literacy Rate.
