Village Potential Statistics of Sulawesi Selatan Province 2024

Village Potential Census (Podes) has been implemented since 1980. Podes data collection is carried out three times in a period of ten years, as part of the ten-year cycle of census activities conducted by BPS-Statistics Indonesia. Podes is carried out two years before the census to support it. In the year ending with ‘1’, Podes is conducted to support the Agricultural Census, identifying the concentration area of agricultural businesses according to the sector and subsector. In the year ending with ‘4’, Podes is implemented to support the Economic Census in order to identify businesses according to sectors and sub-sectors. In the year ending with ‘8’, Podes is implemented to support the Population Census, identifying new residential areas.The dissemination of Podes 2024 is prepared into some main publications, namely: Village Potential Statistics of Indonesia 2024, Village Potential Statistics of Province 2024, and Statistical Yearbook of Indonesia 2025. The book of Village Potential Statistics of Indonesia 2024 is drafted in two types of data, i.e., national publications (specified by province) and provincial publications (elaborated by regency/city).
