Data and information are needed in order to support the planning, implementation and evaluation of development results so that they can run well. Data on socio-economic conditions are needed to provide an overview of development achievements and can also be used by policy makers to evaluate development programs. Data related to people's living needs such as clothing, food, shelter, education, health, security and job opportunities is needed to find out how far the achievement of development results reaches all levels of society.The National Socio-Economic Survey is designed to produce socio-economic data on the population in the education, health, housing, crime, socio-cultural, tourism, and community perceptions sectors of household welfare. Starting in 2015, Susenas data collection is carried out twice a year, namely in March and September. The 2020 South Sulawesi Provincial People's Welfare Statistics publication is the result of data collection through the March 2020 Susenas Kor questionnaire (VSEN2020.K List) which is implemented throughout Indonesia. This publication is presented in the form of a percentage of a population disaggregated by Regency / Manucipality and area of ​​residence so that data users can find out the differences in the level of welfare between regions. A number of data are also disaggregated by sex to meet the needs of a gender gap analysis.
