Abstract

South Sulawesi Province People's Welfare Indicator in 2019 is an annual publication of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of South Sulawesi Province which presents the level of development of the welfare of the people of South Sulawesi between time and comparison between Regencies / Cities and residential areas (urban and rural). The data used is sourced from BPS and Local Government Organizations. BPS data are sourced from the results of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), the Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (SDKI), the 2010-2035 Indonesian Population Projection, and others.
This publication presents various aspects of welfare for which data are available and measurable. To facilitate interpretation, changes in the level of welfare are assessed according to eight areas which include Population, Health and Nutrition, Education, Employment, Consumption Levels and Patterns, Housing and the Environment, Poverty, and Other Social Conditions which are a reference in efforts to improve the quality of life.
