Abstract

The publication of the South Sulawesi Human Development Index (HDI) in 2018 provides an overview, methodology, development of HDI in South Sulawesi Province and Regencies / Cities, development disparity from various aspects and issues related to people's purchasing power.
There are three most basic choices in human development, namely to live long and live healthy lives, to obtain education and to have access to the sources of necessity to live properly. In 2018 the achievement of HDI of South Sulawesi Province was 70.90 and has been in a high status since 2017.
