SE2016 Results Analysis Continued Potential for Improving the Performance of Small Micro Enterprises in Sulawesi Selatan Province

The Economic Census, which is held every 10 years, gives a detailed picture of the economy of a region. Data obtained from the results of the Economic Census can be used as a basis for policy analysis and formulation.
In 2016, BPS conducted a complete data collection or listing for the 2016 Economic Census (SE2016). Next, in 2017 further SE2016 will be carried out to obtain a more detailed picture of economic activity. Respondents for data collection on SE2016 continued are Micro Small Business (UMK) and Large Medium Enterprises (UMB).
Publication of SE2016-Continued Analysis Potential for Improvement of Micro Small Business Performance in South Sulawesi Province is an analysis of the results of the further SE2016 enumeration in South Sulawesi. The purpose of this publication is to provide an overview of the quality and quantity of MSEs in South Sulawesi. This publication also provides an overview of business performance and its determinants in terms of profitability, and analyzes business prospects based on respondents' perceptions and the factors that influence them. Thus the potential information that can still be optimized to improve the performance of MSEs can be obtained. We hope that the results of this study can be useful and contribute to the wider community and policy makers.
