Abstract

The export value shipped through ports in South Sulawesi during the period of January–April 2025 reached US$507.28 million, a decrease of 20.73 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
The export value shipped through ports in South Sulawesi in April 2025 amounted to US$133.99 million, down by 4.84 percent compared to April 2024.
The five main commodity groups imported in April 2025 were Cereals; Sugars and Sugar Confectionery; Mineral Fuels; Electrical Machinery/Equipment; and Machinery/Mechanical Appliances, with respective percentage shares of 31.36 percent; 18.37 percent; 15.05 percent; 7.53 percent; and 6.77 percent.
Most of the imports in April 2025 came from China, Australia, Thailand, Brazil, and Singapore, with respective shares of 32.57 percent; 22.18 percent; 21.46 percent; 9.44 percent; and 8.40 percent.
