Abstract

The number of labor force participants based on the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in February 2025 was 4.82 million people, an increase of 108.41 thousand people compared to February 2024. The Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) increased by 0.58 percentage points compared to February 2024.
The number of employed persons in February 2025 was 4.58 million people, an increase of 100.29 thousand people from February 2024. The business sector that experienced the largest increase was Wholesale and Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles, with an increase of 104.07 thousand people.
In February 2025, as many as 1.71 million people (37.37 percent) were employed in formal activities, a decrease of 3.57 percentage points compared to February 2024.
The percentage of underemployment in February 2025 decreased by 0.29 percentage points, while the percentage of part-time workers increased by 5.08 percentage points compared to February 2024.
The Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) in February 2025 was 4.96 percent, an increase of 0.06 percentage points compared to February 2024.
