Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-classified hotels in South Sulawesi in March 2025 was recorded at 29.52 percent, a decline of 15.81 percentage points compared to February 2025 which stood at 45.33 percent. Conversely, when compared to March 2024 (43.95 percent), the TPK in March 2025 also decreased by 14.43 percentage points.
During the period of January–March 2025, the number of domestic tourist (wisnus) trips to South Sulawesi reached 10,509,061 trips, an increase of 13.03 percent compared to the same period in 2024 (cumulative year-on-year).
In March 2025, the number of international visitor (wisman) arrivals through Sultan Hasanuddin Airport was recorded at 9,831 visits, a decrease of 28.27 percent compared to February 2025 which recorded 13,706 visits.
