Abstract

The number of domestic air transport passengers arriving, departing, and transiting in December 2024 was 852,418 people, an increase of 17.18 percent compared to November 2024. However, compared to December 2023 (862,584 people), there was a decrease of 1.18 percent. Throughout January–December 2024, the total number of domestic air transport passengers reached 9,379,648 people, a decline of 7.72 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
The number of international air transport passengers arriving, departing, and transiting in December 2024 was recorded at 27,365 people, a decrease of 1.47 percent compared to the previous month. However, compared to December 2023 (23,207 people), there was an increase of 17.92 percent. Throughout January–December 2024, the total number of international air transport passengers reached 336,461 people, a decrease of 10.77 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers arriving and departing in December 2024 was 85,101 people, an increase of 40.53 percent compared to November 2024 (60,556 people). However, compared to December 2023 (93,678 people), there was a decrease of 9.16 percent. Throughout January–December 2024, the total number of domestic sea transport passengers reached 975,832 people, an increase of 6.55 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
The total volume of goods unloaded and loaded by domestic sea transport decreased by 4.02 percent, from 926,041 tons in November 2024 to 888,773 tons in December 2024. Compared to December 2023 (938,552 tons), there was a decline of 5.30 percent. Throughout January–December 2024, the total volume of goods unloaded and loaded by domestic sea transport was recorded at 11,258,872 tons, a decrease of 3.41 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
