Abstract

In December 2024, there were 1,085 international tourist visits to Sulawesi Selatan, an increase of 14.57 percent compared to November 2024, which recorded 947 visits.
The Star Hotel Occupancy Rate (TPK) in Sulawesi Selatan in December 2024 was 52.39 percent, a decrease of 1.85 points compared to November 2024 (54.24 percent). Furthermore, compared to December 2023 (55.17 percent), the Star Hotel Occupancy Rate in December 2024 declined by 2.78 points.
The average length of stay for foreign and domestic guests at star hotels in Sulawesi Selatan during December 2024 was 2.30 nights and 1.41 nights, respectively.
From January to December 2024, domestic tourist trips to Sulawesi Selatan reached 36,518.29 thousand trips, an increase of 43.62 percent compared to the cumulative period of 2023 (c-to-c).
