Abstract

· The number of foreign tourists coming through the Makassar entrance in June 2019 reached 1,398 visits. The number of foreign tourists increased by 26.52 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in May 2019 which reached 1,105 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to June 2018, there was an increase of 14.97 percent, in which the number of visits in June 2018 was 1,216 visits.

· The hotel occupancy rate (TPK) of star classification in South Sulawesi in June 2019 rose 5.64 points compared to TPK in May 2019, which was from 37.69 percent in May 2019 to 43.33 percent in June 2019. There was a difference compared to by June 2018, the hotel TPK star classification in June 2019 fell by 0.73 points, which in June 2018 was 44.06 percent.

· The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at star classification hotels in South Sulawesi during June 2019 is 2.94 days and 1.60 days, respectively.
