BPS South Sulawesi Holds BRS Release April 8, 2025 - Inflation, NTP, Transportation, and Export-Import

BPS South Sulawesi released the development of several strategic data, namely March 2025 inflation, March 2025 Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP), February 2025 transportation and February 2025 import exports.

INFLATION -> In March 2025, there was month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation in South Sulawesi of 2.16 percent with a Consumer Price Index of 106.78. The main commodities contributing to inflation (m-to-m) in March 2025 included electricity tariffs, cayenne pepper, gold jewelry, fresh shrimp, skipjack tuna/scaled fish, and chicken eggs.

NTP -> The Combined NTP of South Sulawesi Province in March 2025 was 124.07 or down 0.37 percent compared to the NTP in February 2025 of 124.53.

TRANSPORTATION -> The number of passengers arriving via domestic flights in February 2025 decreased by 10.87 percent compared to January 2025.

EXPORT IMPORT -> The value of exports sent through ports in South Sulawesi in March 2025 reached US$143.47 million. The value of imports of goods unloaded through several ports in South Sulawesi Province in March 2025 reached US$67.04 million.
