South Sulawesi BPS Holds BRS Release January 2 2025 - Inflation, NTP, Export Import, Transportation, Tourism

South Sulawesi BPS released the development of several strategic data, where in December 2024 there will be month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation of 0.38 percent, and year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 1 .23 percent, today at the BPS Office (2/1).

Inflation in South Sulawesi Province on a m-to-m basis in December 2024 was driven by the increase in the price index in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group and Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision. The main commodities contributing to inflation (m-to-m) in December 2024 include tomatoes, purebred chicken meat, shallots, purebred chicken eggs and flying fish/bengol fish.
