South Sulawesi BPS Holds BRS Release December 2 2024 - Inflation, NTP, Export Import, NTP

The Head of BPS South Sulawesi Province on Monday 2 December 2024 released data on the Human Development Index (HDI), Inflation, Farmer Exchange Rate, Transportation, Export Import and Tourism. The official news summary of statistics is as follows.

1. In November 2024, month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation in South Sulawesi was 0.17 percent with a Consumer Price Index of 105.86.

2. The Combined NTP for South Sulawesi Province in November 2024 was 119.37 or an increase of 0.89 percent compared to the NTP in October 2024 of 118.32.

3. In October 2024, there were 1,091 foreign tourist visits to South Sulawesi, a decrease of 17.72 percent compared to September 2024 of 1,326 visits.

4. The value of exports sent through the port of South Sulawesi in October 2024 was recorded at US$ 187.96 million. This figure has increased by 14.75 percent compared to the export value in September 2024 which reached US$ 163.80 million. Meanwhile, the achievement in October 2024 was recorded to have decreased by 10.76 percent from the conditions in the same month the previous year which reached US$ 210.61 million.

5. The number of passengers arriving via domestic flights in October 2024 increased by 1.45 percent compared to September 2024. Meanwhile, the number of passengers arriving via international flights decreased by 5.55 percent.

6. The Human Development Index (HDI) for South Sulawesi Province in 2024 was 75.18, an increase of 0.58 points or a growth of 0.78 percent compared to 2023.
